- Remind clients of appeal deadline January 31st
- Advise where assessments can be found
- Give reasons why they should be concerned about their assessed values
- Make your leasing easier
- Reduce operating costs
- Current listings – Prime properties for review are:
- Where asking price is below assessment
- Those with spaces that are difficult to lease
- Buildings with high vacancies for a long period
- Asking rents not being obtained
- Pending deals
- If assessment is above the sale price, then the purchaser can appeal
- Previous deals where the buyer or tenant does not take occupation till after January 31st
